This is our first farm in the United States, built to grow fresh greens and herbs indoors and pesticide-free, every day of the year.

- A closed-loop system that recycles around 90% of its water
- Ground broken in September 2026, opening in March 2028

What Menifee will grow
The farm will grow fresh herbs, bagged leafy greens and chopped romaine for retail and foodservice partners across Greater Los Angeles. We’ll confirm the full range closer to opening.
Why Menifee
We chose Menifee to put the farm close to the people who will eat what it grows. Around 20 million people live within an hour’s drive, and more than 24 million are within a day’s trip by truck.

On a major freight corridor
The site sits right on I-215, which connects to 11 western states. The rail intermodal yards are 30 to 40 minutes away, Ontario International Airport is about 45 minutes away, and the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach are around 90 minutes away.

A growing city with a strong workforce
SmartAsset ranks Menifee as the fastest-growing city in the Inland Empire, and it’s now home to more than 121,000 people. UC Riverside and Mt. San Jacinto College are both nearby, which matters when we start hiring the operators, technicians and scientists who will run the farm.

A city that wants us here
The City of Menifee and local civic leaders have backed the farm from the start, and it fits the city’s plan to bring more skilled work close to where its residents live. Once the farm opens, a local team of engineers, plant scientists and technical operators will keep it running day and night.

Supply that holds up all year
Growing indoors and close to market means we aren’t relying on long-haul freight, and droughts, heatwaves and floods don’t affect the crop. Buyers get the same greens in the same volumes in July as they do in January.

Invest in what’s next
Menifee is backed by US$126 million in project financing, and it’s the biggest step we’ve taken so far in bringing a model we proved in Australia to the United States.

The people behind the farm
Stacked Farm was founded by Liz and Daniel Tzvetkoff, who set out to grow clean, consistent greens in a country where the weather makes that hard. Menifee was designed by the same engineering team on the Gold Coast that built every farm before it, and it’s being built on site in Greater Los Angeles.
